I've had the ASUS VG248QE for a while, and it's a workhorse for competitive gaming. The 144 Hz and 1 ms response time are as advertised—motion clarity is excellent. The 350 cd/m² brightness is a step up from budget models, making it usable in most lighting. However, the TN panel means viewing angles are narrow, and colors look washed out when viewed off-center.
