Our take
The Z-Edge UG34 is a beast for ultrawide gaming. The 34-inch curved screen is immersive, and the 165Hz refresh makes gameplay silky smooth. The 3440x1440 resolution offers plenty of screen real estate, and the 3000:1 contrast ratio delivers deep blacks. However, the 300-nit brightness is just okay, and the single HDMI port is limiting. FreeSync works well to prevent tearing. For $417, it's a decent value for an ultrawide, but expect some compromises in build quality.
